Project overview
LOGWASHER SCRUBBING BATHS
MEA specializes in the design and manufacture of high-performance log washer scrubbing baths, widely used in industries like mining, construction, and recycling for cleaning and preparing raw materials such as aggregates, ores, and other bulk materials. Log washers efficiently remove impurities like clay, silt, and debris from materials through the scrubbing action of rotating paddles, ensuring a cleaner and more refined product for further processing.
MEA offers complete log washer baths, both fixed and skid-mounted, to meet the specific needs of clients, whether they require stationary or portable units. The skid-mounted versions provide enhanced mobility, making them ideal for dynamic job sites, while the fixed systems are engineered for long-term, reliable use in permanent installations.
In addition to manufacturing the complete bath systems, MEA produces all critical internal components in-house, including log washer paddle shafts, full drive train assemblies, reduction gearboxes, motors, NDE stub shaft assemblies, and cast white iron chrome paddles. To enhance durability, MEA incorporates chromium ‘choc blocks’ in all suitable applications, minimizing wear and providing added protection in high-impact feed zones where material enters the bath.
MEA’s NDE stub shaft assemblies are specifically designed to withstand the tough operating conditions at the lower end of the bath, where they endure constant exposure to water and material flow. These assemblies are engineered as positive grease displacement units, preventing contaminants from entering and ensuring long-lasting performance and minimal maintenance in demanding environments. MEA’s comprehensive design and manufacturing process guarantee optimal efficiency, reliability, and longevity in every log washer scrubbing bath system.
