MEA specializes in the design and manufacture of Dragline PCR (Power, Compressor, and Transformer) Rooms. These are large structures mounted to the side of dragline houses to hold either transformers or compressors. These rooms are essential for housing critical equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring that transformers and compressors operate in optimal conditions during the dragline’s operations.

Each room is carefully designed to meet the specific needs of the dragline and its operational environment. Fabricated in our Gladstone workshop, the rooms are built to the highest standards of durability and safety. Once completed, the rooms are transported to the desired site for installation, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

MEA has worked closely with BMA, successfully producing multiple dragline PCR rooms for their Queensland coal mines.
