      The implementation of our Comprehensive Quality Management System ensures the above objectives are met and by adopting the attitude of being leaders in Quality as well as ensuring an ongoing commitment to Quality Principles and continual improvement by Management and by all employees.

      Our “Quality Management System” is Third Party Certified by NCS International to AS/NZ ISO 9001:2008 Certification Number 8058.

       

      HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

      Mechanical Engineers Australia is committed to achieving high standards of health and safety in all aspects of our business.  We are focused on providing a controlled work environment which encourages and fosters a proactive culture of ‘Safety First’ that in turn protects the health, safety and welfare of all employees, subcontractors and visitors to our premises.

      To achieve this MEA will:

      – Meet or exceed the safety and health standards dictated in the Act, Regulations, Codes and Standards and requirements of our clients

      – Implement and utilise a Safety Management System as an integral part of our business to provide assurance that hazards are assessed and that measures are in place to control them

      – Providing appropriate OH&S training for our employees

      – Using continuous improvement principles to achieve best practise standards

      ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

      Mechanical Engineers Australia is committed to to conducting all its activities in an environmentally responsible manner to ensure that our environmental impact is minimal.

      To achieve this MEA will:

      – Comply with or exceed expectations of all regulatory requirements through proactive management

      – Influence environmental awareness and compliance amongst our employees, suppliers and subcontractors

      – Ensure all materials are used, stored and disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner, under documented and traceable procedures

      – Utilise recycling methods through segregation management to minimise the impact of waste

      – Train employees in order to reduce the environmental effects of the company’s operations

      – Maintain awareness of new approaches and legislations in the reduction of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) emissions through improved process and product management, whilst subscribing to the mitigation of ‘MEA Operations’ carbon footprint, through the development of solar and other alternative energy sources
